Temi
- Role
- Lead and sole designer, iOS and Android
- Focus
- iOS, Android, AI transcription
- Outcomes
- Live transcripts and locked-preview upsells produced learnings that rolled back into Rev's paying products.

Challenge
Temi had no public affiliation with Rev. So, we used this app as a testing ground for our automated transcripts and features we wanted to test on general consumers. It was a different user base, but it served as a good testing ground to gain understanding before rolling out features to current paying Rev customers.
Goal
Gain learning and be able to implement into our other apps.
Role
I was the lead and sole designer for the iOS and Android app. The product had previously only been available in a web-only format, which was designed and developed by a different team. I worked closely with rotating product managers and a small team of developers.
User flow

There are many different archetypes for this app. Generally, the user opens the app and hits record to create a new live transcript audio recording of their meeting.
Pricing and plans

Record live

The user receives a live transcript while the recording is in progress. This app focuses on feedback, so we incorporated numerous opportunities to gather qualitative data that we could use for this and our other apps.
View transcript

The transcript was locked after recording if there were not enough credits. We still wanted to give users a glimpse of their transcript, so they would be more incentivized to purchase more credits upon seeing the actual transcript.
Settings

Always need to be able to customize.
